The Feral Story
Feral started on a test trip in Italy. A wall of demo boards… and not one of them built for how our founder rides (she’s a girl by the way, if that matters).
Too soft. Too safe. Too “pink”.
Turns out, when you want to ride hard and have fun, the options are limited. Especially if you don’t fit the average “rider profile”.
Rude.
A few mountain Aperols later, we decided to make our own. Feral Boards are for the ones who are having fun, who charge hard, fail harder, and get back up smiling. The ones who ride with attitude, not ego.
We’re building progressive, playful, all-mountain boards for any adventure, whatever that looks like. No gendered design. No “shrink it and pink it”. Just gear that prioritizes fun and stands up to anything.
Unapologetically bold.
Purpose-built.
Ready for anything.

MEET THE TEAM
GEMMA JOHNSTON – FOUNDER
From her first lessons on the dry slopes of the UK, to seasons in Morzine and trips to the US, Gemma has been hooked on snowboarding for over 20 years.
While her riding has progressed, the one thing that remains the same is a lack of exciting and fun boards for women.
Finding herself on a test trip staring at endless men’s boards and being offered a handful of reliable options, she decided (in an Aperol haze) to start designing fun boards built for all riders and any adventure.
